Lew's at Pleasanton Country Club at 1801 McGuffin Drive, Pleasanton, Texas.

Been twice so far. Both times were great. The food is really good and the atmosphere is spot on....it's a country club...employees were friendly and attentive. The gravy on the chicken fried steak is jalapeño and bacon....come on man that's cheating....awesome....

Beautiful view of the golf course and river through the floor to ceiling windows. The waitstaff are young but courteous. We ordered the chips and queso to start. The chips are cooked there. The queso was mild enough for my young daughter. I had the Greek salad. It came with lots of olives, red onion slices, nice lemony vinaigrette on a bed of spring greens. It filled the plate and me. We also ordered a cheese pizza and a grilled shrimp plate. Our food came quickly. (We were there before the dinner rush on Saturday.) Our waiter was attentive and refilled our glasses. We like Lew's. We've been there a few times before for Mother's Day, Father's Day, and after church.
